Beata Banach: The Polish Artist Weaving Stories Through Art 


A Journey Through Fine Arts 

Meet Beata Banach, a talented artist and illustrator hailing from Poland. With a Master's degree from the Fine Arts University in Lublin, Beata has spent five years mastering the art of traditional easel painting. Her artistic journey began even earlier at the Fine Arts Secondary School in Nałęczów, where she dedicated another five years to studying visual arts, specializing in toy making alongside traditional fine art disciplines like painting, drawing, and photography. 


Specializing in Children's Literature 

Beata has carved out a niche for herself in the world of children's book illustrations and oil painting. Her passion for storytelling shines through her work, and she is excited to announce that her eighth illustrated book is set to be published soon. While she primarily works With traditional techniques, Beata is also adept at digital media and loves to blend the two, creating a unique fusion that enhances her artistic expression.

GASCA Latest Event: 

GASCA Art Competition: The judges will make a comprehensive score based on the contestants’ creativity, painting skills and composition of the works. Each contestant will receive a score in each category, an overall score and a brief comment from the judges. It is hoped that the contestants will be encouraged and have a better understanding of their own painting characteristics and techniques. We also hope that all the contestants will continue to display their artistic talents and enhance their self-confidence through the art competition. 🌟

Scoring criteria: Painting group: Creativity (40%), Painting skills (30%), Composition of the work (30%) 

Calligraphy group: glyphs (50%), strokes (30%), chapter composition (20%)

Photography Group: Technique (30%), Emotion and Storytelling (40%), Overall Impression (30%)
