2025 GASCA "Huanyu Cup・Hong Kong Station/Tokyo Finals" Recitation and Public Speaking Competition

If selected to advance to the Tokyo finals, participants may compete using another topic.

• There is no dress code.
• You are free to choose the same theme or different themes during the preliminary and final rounds.
• Content must not contain vulgar or offensive language.
• Participants are allowed to use cue cards during their presentations to assist in the delivery of their presentations.
• If the set speech period is exceeded, a bell will sound to indicate the end of the speech period. Please stop speaking at that time.
• After your speech, please exit from the wings of the stage and exit the building. We kindly ask for your cooperation and not to remain in the lobby.
• All rights related to the recording, distribution and sale of performances, reviews, seminar recordings, recordings, etc. performed at GASCA International Competitions belong to the organizers.
• Videos of performances, reviews and workshops from GASCA International competitions may be posted online without prior notice.
• Filming or recording during competitions is prohibited.
• The date and time of the judging will be determined by the sponsor.
• Additional reservations and cancellations will be posted on the organizer's website if required.
• There is no parking lot.Please come by public transport.
• Preschool children are not allowed in the halls.Also, if it is determined that a contestant will be disturbed by crying, etc., we may ask them to leave the room.
• All travel and accommodation expenses are borne by the participants themselves.
• No refunds will be given after application for any reason.

Champion (one for each group)-The contestant with the highest score will receive a certificate and a trophy.

Runner-up (one for each group)- Awarded to the contestant with the second highest score, who will receive a certificate and a trophy.

Second runner-up (one from each group)- Awarded to the contestant with the third highest score, who will receive a certificate and a trophy.

Honor Award: The top 40% of the contestants will receive a certificate and a medal.

Merit Award: The next 30% of the contestants will receive a certificate and a medal.

Participation Award: : The remaining contestants will receive a certificate

"Global Language Cup Recitation Competition" Outstanding Teacher Award - The instructors of the top three winners in each category will receive a certificate and a trophy.

"Global Language Cup Recitation Competition" - Cultivating Talents Silver Award: HK$500 cash prize, awarded to mentors who invite five or more students.

"Global Language Cup Recitation Competition" - Talent Cultivation Gold Award: HK$1000 cash prize, awarded to mentors who invite ten or more students.

"Huayu Cup Recitation Competition" - Education Award: Schools/education centers that invite ten or more students to participate in each category will receive a certificate and a trophy.

Participation Award: All participants will receive an electronic participation certificate

If the judges believe that the contestants in this group have not reached the award-winning level, no award ranking and prizes for that ranking will be awarded.

The awards ceremony will be held on the same day after the competition. The champion will receive a certificate and trophy. The runner-up, third place, honorable mention, and merit awards will receive certificates and medals.

The final registration fee includes the certificate, trophy/medal. Please note that the trophy and pennant received at the award ceremony are notwill notThe name of the winner is printed.

The Association provides an exclusive trophy upgrade service. If winners want to apply for a trophy with their own name printed on it, they can go to the official website to apply for the upgrade service after the competition.Please note that customized trophies are an additional service, and the cost of upgrading customized trophies is not included in the registration fee, and the shipping fee will be charged separately according to the local postal fee.The trophy upgrade service takes 2-3 months to produce.If you can't wait, the association does not recommend applying for exclusive trophies.

The competition will be judged by the judges commissioned by the competition organizer according to the scoring criteria.

The judges' decision is final and cannot be appealed.

The event organizer reserves the final right to interpret the general rules and regulations of the competition.

If there is any dispute over this event, the organizer reserves the right of final decision and no one shall object.

In the event of any conflict in the meaning of any translated version, the English version shall prevail.
