The preliminary round will be conducted via video, and contestants are required to upload their entry videos, and the judges will evaluate their qualifications for the finals within three working days.

There are only two award levels for this preliminary round: 1. Advancement Honor Award (80 points or above) and 2. Merit Award (79 points or below).

Participants who score 80 points or above will qualify for the finals, while those who score below 79 points will not advance to the finals.

Those who advance to the finals must travel to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre competition venue on June 14, 2026 to compete.

Advancement Honorable Mention (80 points or above): Participants who qualify for the finals will receive a certificate and a medal.

Merit Award (79 points or below): Participants who fail to qualify for the finals will also receive a certificate and a medal.

GASCA International Competition - Talent Cultivation Cash Award (Gold Award): A cash prize of HK$500 will be awarded to tutors who invite ten or more students.

GASCA International Competition - Talent Cultivation Cash Award (Silver Award):A cash prize of HK$250 will be awarded to tutors who invite five or more students.

*Winners will receive a free electronic certificate with their name printed on it. Log in to your account and download it instantly on the announcement day. The entry fee includes the standard medal, so winners do not need to apply for the standard medal.

Competition tickets cost HK$180 and will be available for public sale on the official website in mid-April. Participants do not need to purchase tickets. There are 100 seats available; seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
