Japan Tokyo International Music Competition - Education Award: The school/education center invites ten or more students to participate in each group of competitions, and they will receive a certificate and a trophy

Friends, mentors and family members of the contestants must purchase tickets if they want to watch the competition.Tickets for the competition are HK$150 and will be on sale on the official website in mid-July.Participants do not need to purchase tickets.There are 11 seats in the venue, there is no allocation of seats, and sales are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Final Rules

  • There is no dress code.
  • Feel free to choose any song.You are free to apply for the same song or different songs in the preliminary round and the final round.
  • The use of copied sheet music is prohibited. (Copies of originals are acceptable.)
  • Multiple songs can be played over a period of time.
  • Since there is only one piano on the playing field, a piano duet is not possible.
  • If you play an accompaniment piece in the finals, be sure to bring piano accompaniment.Contestants must arrange their own accompaniment and piano page turner.Ensembles with piano will also be judged.
  • For performances with piano accompaniment only the accompanist is late, and performances without piano accompaniment will also be accepted.
  • Participants must have all instruments ready.However, event organizers will provide a concert grand piano.
  • Please bring your own accessories (tuners, replacement strings, etc.).
  • If the set performance time is exceeded, a bell will ring to indicate the end of the performance.
  • Stop playback at that time.

Judges:

The competition will be judged by the judges commissioned by the competition organizer according to the scoring criteria.

In the Tokyo International Music Competition in Japan, professional judges will watch the competition through video and give scores to the contestants.

The judges' decision is final and cannot be appealed.

The event organizer reserves the final right to interpret the general rules and regulations of the competition.
