I once thought time moved slowly, but life in Hong Kong's fast-paced fashion industry made hours vanish. I lost moments to observe nature—the ants, the small creatures of my childhood—and felt drained by concrete, screens, and constant rush.

Through Eastern lacquer art, I found a way to pause: tapping and piecing eggshells to recreate beetles and flowers in silver and deep blue. This slow, deliberate process preserves the delicate beauty of life, letting it endure. Lacquer art restored my lost connection to nature and allowed me to savor quiet, meaningful afternoons once more.
