James painted this because he thinks every creature needs a safe and happy home to live in. The painting shows a secret place where the plants are giant and green, and a little frog represents "the resident" of this peaceful sanctuary. James wants to share a message through his painting, that even a small frog is important to our world, and if we protect the green parts of our cities, we can keep nature's magic alive forever.
